Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Welcome to "OCAAM"

Airport chaplaincies represent the church at the heart of modern travel and communications.  Within the dynamic flow of thousands of people coming and going, chaplains are available to assist and to guide - to help find the way forward, to lend a listening ear, to pray.

The Old Catholic and Anglican Airport Ministry (OCAAM) is the sponsoring agency for Anglican and Old Catholic participation in the chaplaincy of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, one of the world's busiest airports.  The foundation, a registered charity in the Netherlands, is under the episcopal oversight of the Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe, of the Church of England and the  Old Catholic Bishop of Haarlem.

Reverend Joop Albers serves full-time at Schiphol Airport, as part of an ecumenical team including Roman Catholic and Protestant ministers.

Volunteers from local Old Catholic and Anglican churches help oversee the mult-faith place of worship.

The Old Catholic and Anglican Airport Ministry is directed by a board of five trustees, all active members of local Old Catholic or Anglican congregations.
